Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the level of maturity and look for problems that occur in the attendance information system process and to provide recommendations to companies to improve existing IT governance. In carrying out the research, the authors use the COBIT 4.1 framework with a focus on the ME domain which consists of ME1, ME2, ME3 and ME4 sub-domains. The results of the analysis regarding the level of maturity show that the information system regarding attendance at PT Pelayaran Kurnia Samudra is at level 3 with a status defined process status, which means that PT Pelayaran Kurnia Samudra has conducted formal training or communication with its employees regarding standard IT procedures and responsibilities which include IT monitoring process, reporting IT performance and correcting IT if there are deviations, monitoring and reporting exception controls, compiling internal and third party assessments, monitoring processes and identifying IT against laws, regulations and contracts and planning and implementing IT governance in accordance with operational conditions and business objectives of the company.
