One of the elements of sanitary development is the problem of accommodation. Health and the environment will be affected by poor sanitation conditions. Waste can be used as a resource and minimize environmental damage. The increasing amount of household waste, both organic and inorganic, is one of the problems that exist in residential areas. The results of research in Batu Aji, Batam, show that the culture of waste management is still not ideal. The aim of this community initiative is to improve the quality of life of the people, especially in terms of health and the economy. Two important aspects affect the era of the new order of life. It will use 3R methods to manage garbage. Based on the results of ongoing waste management construction using 3R methods (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) in Kibing Kelurahan, it can be concluded that the understanding of the surrounding public about the 3R approach is increasing. This method includes activities such as reducing waste, reusing, and recycling. (recycle). Better disposal of garbage can be beneficial to the community. Additional research results suggest that other individuals, such as children, require advanced instruction on how to dispose of garbage properly and properly. Also, mothers should be instructed on how to use compost and other economic benefits of garbage management
