LITERASI DIGITAL TENTANG INFORMASI DAN TRANSAKSI ELEKTRONIK DALAM PARADIGMA SISWA SMKN 1 PADANGPANJANG

Digital literacy is widespread and often addresses major problems. The first step in educating students about digital literacy is developing reading skills, reading content carefully, and then using digital literacy to understand the content. Through digital literacy training, this service project aims to improve the digital literacy skills of teenagers, especially at SMKN 1 Padangpanjang. Formulating the form of activity, activity stages, and evaluation are the three stages that constitute the method of implementing PKM activities. The assessment results show that the level of understanding of members about advanced education is very high and they have awareness about the risks of engaging in the web and virtual entertainment, as shown by the consequences of the poll of 83.3% related to negative substances on the Web. However, the evaluation results show that the majority of participants only use the internet to communicate, play games, and use social media, so they do not understand digital literacy related to using the internet for science.
